Detailed Directions Below
From South (I-91 and Springfield, VT)
- Take I-91 NORTH to Exit 8.
- Take Exit 8, “Ascutney/Claremont”. Bear RIGHT at end of ramp, heading towards Claremont, through a light.
- Cross the Connecticut River into New Hampshire. At the first stop light AFTER crossing the river, turn LEFT (North) onto Route 12A.
- Continue on Route 12A for about 11.2 to 11.5 miles. You will follow Route 12A through a quirky left turn (at about 5 miles), pass by the entrance to the longest covered bridge in the world (at about 5.5 miles), and pass the St. Gaudens Memorial (at about 7 miles).
- At about 10 miles on Route 12A you will enter the small town of Plainfield, NH. Landmarks include a large Community Church (red, modernish) on the right south of town, and a General Store (on the left) in the center of town.
- Just north of Plainfield, after 11.2 to 11.5 miles on Route 12A, look for sign “Stage Road” on right. About 50 yards later, turn RIGHT onto Stage Road.
- Continue on Stage Road for about 6 miles until it dead-ends in Route 120. CAREFUL – you come up to the dead end VERY suddenly as you come around a right bend!
- Turn LEFT (North) on Route 120.
- Within ¾ mile on Route 120, you will pass a Citgo station on the right, Volunteer Fire Department and athletic fields on the left, and then come up to a blinking yellow light at the foot of the Kimball Union Academy campus.
- At blinking light turn LEFT onto Main Street, and head up the hill through the Kimball Union campus.
- At top of hill, look for green on the RIGHT with stone Meriden Congregational Church set back. Parish House is white building just BEYOND the green. Park anywhere around the green except where marked.
From South (I-89 and Concord, NH)
- Take I-91 NORTH to Exit 8.

From Claremont, NH and Points South
- Get to Route 120 headed NORTH out of Claremont. Meriden is about 15 or more miles (not measured) up Route 120. You will pass through Cornish Flat a few miles before reaching Meriden.
- As you enter Meriden, you will pass a Citgo station on the right, Volunteer Fire Department and athletic fields on the left, and then come up to a blinking yellow light at the foot of the Kimball Union Academy campus.
- At blinking light turn LEFT onto Main Street, and head up the hill through the Kimball Union campus.
- At top of hill, look for green on the RIGHT with the stone Meriden Congregational Church set back. The Parish House is a white building just BEYOND the green. Park anywhere around the green except where marked.
From North (I-91 and Hanover, NH)
- Get to Route 120 headed SOUTH through the heart of Lebanon. If coming from I-89, this is Exit 18.
- Follow Route 120 through several blinking lights in Lebanon, around the side of the square in Lebanon (square is to your LEFT), eventually taking a RIGHT at a corner of the square (Post Office is directly in front of you as you turn) and heading SOUTH, out of Lebanon.
- About 7.8 miles down Route 120, look for signs along Route 120 saying “Meriden” and “Kimball Union Academy”.
- Shortly thereafter, at blinking light on Route 120, turn RIGHT onto Main Street, and head up the hill through the Kimball Union campus.

- Get to Route 120 headed SOUTH through the heart of Lebanon. If coming from I-89, this is Exit 18.
